Hello Guys!
This is our second to last post about this amazing journey. I simply love learning, studying, reading about entrepreneurship. I feel inspired by the courage of successful entrepreneurs that risk everything to make their idea/passion/solution become reality. I feel like when we get into an entrepreneurship career, we end up developing Christlike attributes such as patience, leadership, generosity, positive attitude and gratitude.
Gratitude was one of the main topics of this week's lesson. President Thomas S. Monson was always an example of service, positive and gratitude. In his talk called "An Attitude of Gratitude", he exhorts us to find ways to be more grateful and express this gratitude. We have so much to be thankful for: Mothers, Fathers, Teachers and the most important: our Savior Jesus Christ. Because of him and his example we are able to learn, to commit mistakes and restart as many times as we need. This is so beautiful!
Another great insight I took from this week videos was the Story of Larry North. He is the example that success is not something that goes to people born rich. He built his own path of achievements.
I loved how he points his positive attitude as an important fact to have had achieved success in his life. He says that being positive is to believe in yourself and in others around you and I agree. I can see life getting better results when I am more positive and grateful. When we choose to be positive people, we will be more capable of recognizing great opportunities.
Another important thing that Larry thought in his interview is the fact that we need to learn from experienced people. We need to look for mentors, people that are successful in what they do and can teach us the steps they took to achieve their goal. I believe that we cannot go anywhere alone. We always need good and the right people by our side so we can find happiness and arrive in our destination.
Thank you for learning with me!
See you next week.
