How to Achieve Dreams

  Hello!

This week’s post is very special. We are going to talk about dreams. Are you a dreamer? Honestly, I was never a dreamer, I never really believed in myself to dream. That is sad but is true. I just realized that when I started dating my husband that was born a dreamer. Since then, I am becoming a dreamer, I am learning to become one.

It is so important to have dreams. I believe it guides you and motivates you to have progress in life. That’s why I loved this week lessons and assignments, specially Randy Pausch talk.
He talked about all the dreams he could achieve and what he learned with the ones he didn’t. And the lesson begins there, he didn’t achieve all his dreams, but he learned from it and got experience to achieve others goals and dreams.

I think he was able to achieve so many dreams and go because he had a positive perspective from everything that was happening in his life. He saw an opportunity even when people would think it was impossible and he wouldn’t give up. Something he said in his talk that inspired me was: “Brick walls let us show our dedication. They are there to separate us from the people who don’t really want to achieve their childhood dreams. Don’t bail.” What important lesson!

Other important thing that he teaches us is that we have to be grateful and willing to learn from others (parents, mentors, students). It will increase our chances to succeed because it will open our eyes to good opportunities.
I already told you that I wasn’t a dreamer, but I always had one. To have a house of mine and kids with the love of my life. I am halfway to achieve this goal and because I learned to dream, now I can see a future full of achievements and beautiful things I want to conquer (my business is one of them). I believe I can achieve these dreams because I am learning what is essential to do and to be to become an achiever.

Professor Pausch touched my heart and I could absorber tons of life lessons. I will finish with another statement from him that is an eternal truth:

“It’s not about how to achieve your dreams. It’s about how to lead your life. If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you. “

See you all next week.
