Entrepreneurial Journal Final Blog

 Hello!

Here we are in the last week of class. Our last blog post. I am so happy to be here. I have to confess that this semester was really hard for me and I thought on giving up a few times, but I am glad I didn't. I am learning so much and this course has encouraged and inspired me to follow my dreams.

A lot of people think that to be and entrepreneur is super easy. You are your own boss, no one tells you what to do and you can have freedom. What a wrong idea! Being entrepreneur is not easy at all. It requires dedication, hard work, discipline, a lot of research and study, leadership skills and the most important: Emotional Intelligence. Those are Christlike attributes that will help our business and also our Lord's kingdom.

Something that I learned in this course is that Heavenly Father want us to be successful not just spiritually but also professionally and financially and I believe that the entrepreneurship is the most certain way to achieve these goals.

Another important skill (or gift) an entrepreneur must have is faith and positivity. We won't find success in the future if we do not believe it will be given to us. A positive and growth mindset is essential to not give up when the hard times come. And they will come for sure! Diligence and faith are the key to achieve all our goals.

I am so grateful that I could learn and reinforce this knowledge every week. I learned to dream big and that I am capable of doing hard things. When I achieve big goals and dreams I will be ready to help and encourage others to do the same. I really want to be an example to my family and friends.

The path is not easy but is totally possible.

I will finish my reflection with a quote from Professor Pausch that made a huge impact in my life:

“It’s not about how to achieve your dreams. It’s about how to lead your life. If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you. “

And the journey continues...
